Hancockau's admissions process is designed to determine whether a program will genuinely serve a student — and to be honest when it will not.
How the admissions process works
Applications to Hancockau move through four clearly defined steps. First, you submit an online expression of interest naming the program and your intended outcome. Second, an admissions adviser reviews the submission and schedules a 30-minute video or phone conversation — not to sell you a place, but to ask questions about your current skills, schedule constraints, and expectations. Third, if the program is a credible match, you receive a conditional offer letter with a plain-English explanation of what the condition requires. Fourth, once the condition is satisfied and enrolment fees are confirmed, you receive a start-date confirmation with pre-reading materials. The entire process typically takes seven to fourteen business days.

Your schedule and capacity
Programs require 18–22 hours of study per week across contact sessions and independent work. Advisers assess whether a candidate's employment, family, or health situation makes that realistic.
Your prior learning
Hancockau does not require a particular academic record, but advisers need to understand what foundation-level skills a student already holds to determine whether additional bridging is needed before enrolment.
Your questions
The final portion of every call is reserved for the applicant. Advisers are required to answer questions honestly, including questions about pass rates, graduate outcomes data, and program limitations.
Entry requirements and conditions
Most Hancockau programs are open to applicants aged 17 and over who have completed Year 11 or equivalent, or who can demonstrate equivalent capability through a short written task. Some programs in Health Sciences carry a mandatory prerequisite module that must be completed in the first four weeks of enrolment — this is disclosed in the conditional offer letter before any fees are paid. International applicants studying on a student visa are welcomed and must provide evidence of English proficiency at IELTS 6.0 or equivalent. Hancockau does not guarantee outcomes that depend on external bodies — university admissions decisions, employer hiring choices, or licensing board approvals are outside our control, and we will not represent otherwise.
